Following the conclusion of these games, the semi-final was played against Alton on a pitch closer to regulation size - which the boys took in their stride winning 4-1 against a more experienced and challenging Alton squad. The final was played against Winchester with the result being a win 3-0 to Chichester, so CRFC where Cup Winners within their first U12 festival - a perfect start to the season and preparation for their first 'Waterfall' league match against Jersey away on the 30th Sept. 23 Points for & 1 against.

Player of the Festival was awarded to Jonah Hutchings, being nominated by the coaches for his game management and display of tackling; which was summarised by the final tackle in the final minutes of the final, where he covered almost half the pitch to tackle a Winchester player in the corner of the pitch saving a certain try. Special mention also to William Heaver for his work when receiving the high-ball, on the wing, and then taking the ball & 3 opposition players up the pitch to the try-line!
