A visit to Brighton RFC is always a tough fixture.
On a cold windy day the conditions were always going to play their part.
Chi started well but could not get over the line to open the scoring despite being dominant.
Eventually the pressure paid off, the forwards going over in the corner with Joe Watts touching down.
The resulting conversion was missed but Chi were soon on the score board again with Rob Russell scoring the first of his two tries. Try converted, 0 -12 at half time. The second half went much the same way as the first with Rob getting his second try of the afternoon. Brighton pulled one back in the closing stages giving a final score of 7 - 17 with Chi leapfrogging Brighton into second place.
