They were one of five new sides to the league after winning promotion from the Premier League Midlands Division One and Loughborough Foxes are currently 7th in the league.

Comfortably mid-table in their debut season in the National League Southern Premier the Foxes travel to the Countrywide Gas on the back of a heavy defeat to high flying Blackburn Rovers of the Northern Premier.

They held off the attacks of the two times champions but Rovers hit back in the second-half to score four and seal a place in the final of the National League Cup, Lagan Makin bagging a brace.

Since the turn of the new year Loughborough have won three games out of eight in all competitions which saw them exit the FA Cup as well as the League Cup.

Rebecca Mcgrother will be on to watch for Chi heading into the game as the Foxes top goalscorer with 11 goals in all competitions.

Chi themselves come into the game on the back of two league defeats but the team have performed well in those matches.

Now second in the league Chi will be looking to recreate their win against Sunday's opposition from earlier in the season.

The two sides met at Loughborough University where a solitary effort from Molly Clark was the difference.

Both goalkeepers were kept busy and Amy Burle denied Chi twice include an audacious effort from Gemma Simmonds.

Lauren Dolbear also made crucial saves to keep an important clean sheet as Clark's second-half close-range finish.

With both sides looking to get back into form on Sunday especially as Chi build towards the County Cup final in April.

Get yourselves down to the Countrywide Gas Stadium this Sunday, March 10th to see Chichester City in action Loughborough Foxes.

Gates open from 1pm and it's pay on the door as always, just £4 for adults and £1 for under-16s for the 2pm kick-off.

Hot food and drinks are available from the kiosk just behind the home dugout while the clubhouse bar is also open for fans to purchase drinks.
