Chichester soak up the pressure to make it 9 wins in a row.

Chichester made the long trip to MK Dons looking to capitalise on an 8 game winning streak.

Chichester took an early lead after 3 minutes when a Starkey corner was turned into their own net by the the MK Dons right back. Shrubb ran down the left soon after and her cut back just eluded the approaching Challen! MK Dons equalised on 11 minutes as a 25 yard shot lobbed McNamara.

The Lillywhites regained the lead a minute later as a ball over the top found Challen who brilliantly took on the defence and reached the byline before finding a perfect cross back to Shrubb who's volley was unstoppable.

The Lillywhites found themselves on the back foot for the rest of the half and only Shrubb hitting the bar from 24 yards midway through the half easing the pressure on the back four. Chichester went in 2-1 at half time.

The second half continued the same way as the first with the Lillywhites soaking up a barrage of shots from the MK Dons attack. Ogden came on for Harnett and the injection of work rate proved critical in breaking down attacks.

Richardson and Starkey had an excellent game at centre back winning everything that the MK Dons through at them and Fowlie, making her debut for Chichester, fitted in well and had an excellent game at left back.

Only a Shrubb freekick hitting the bar stopped the relentless attacking pressure that the MK Dons threw at us. However, the clock ticked by slowly and with Chichester dealing with everything that was thrown at them they somehow held on for the win.

Chichester make it 9 in a row in league and cup and take on league leaders Chesham (away) next week in a top of the table clash!
