After a long summer of skills training and friendly matches, the Allington Netball team joined the local’Rock Up’ Netball league for a second season.

On Wednesday, a strong Allington team chosen by Coach Pam Murnan and led by team captain Becky Harding, had their next game against another young and upcoming team called Bobcats.

With both coaching teams providing encouragement from the sidelines, Allington started off strong and took the lead. Using out experience and ability to slow the game down, we were able to retain that lead in every quarter.

Winning our first match of the new season was the boost we needed and we look forward to next week.
