As you are aware following my note to you last week our club has been selected by the RFU to develop an AGP on the club grounds for the benefit of the Dorset and Wilts Local Rugby Partnership (LRP).
Artifical grass pitches are the future of rugby and as a long-established club Chippenham RFC will be able to offer our members and players the very best facilities possible for playing and spectating.
We have had several of you contact the Club about a recent RFU announcement which is across social media regarding the AGP programme. I was informed a few weeks ago that an announcement was pending and following a recent conversation with the project manager for the RFU project team, he confirmed that all future AGP schemes funded by the RFU are to be suspended apart from Chippenham and one other unnamed club. The start date for the pitch has gone back to May due to a planning design issue however I am assured that the pitch will still be delivered by late September which is the original completion date.
If you do have any questions about the AGP please do contact me at email@example.com or speak to me at the club.
