Chippenham 1sts have now wrapped up the league season and secured runners-up place in Regional 2 Severn. The highlights are plentiful but its great to see the attacking style produce the highest points scored total and an impressive 19 try bonus points from 22 matches played. We look forward to taking the same style into the Cup competitions ahead.

We have two competitions this season and await the date for the Bath Combination Cup sponsored by Davis Access semi-final away at Walcot and if successful, the Cup Final is being played on the Bath Rec on Wednesday 7 May.

The other competition is the RFU Papa John Community Cup and we're in the Regional 2 Championship which has sides from across the country that are at the same league standing and its a knock-out competition - So win and stay in.. This Saturday, Chippenham welcome Tottonains to Allington Fields and we reckon it might be the first time the senior sides have played. The visitors are based in Southampton and play in London Regional 2 South Central and played against the likes of Wimbourne, Bournemouth, Newbury and North Dorset. They've had a very good season and like Chippenham have only lost 4 of 22 league matches but ended up 4th in their league. It will a cracking match and Tottonians have enjoyed plenty of success on the road, so will be up for visiting Allington Fields - We need to make sure the place is buzzing and the Steps are packed for this one - 3.00pm KO

Cheltenham Civil Service Women v Chippenham Women
Chippenham Women have had a resurgent end to the season and are now producing some great rugby with huge amounts of power and pace across the squad and will be in confident mood after two strong wins on the bounce - Can they finish the season with a hat trick? They travel up to Cheltenham Civil Service on Saturday, who play at the Civil Service Sports Ground, Uckington, Cheltenham and Chippenham are planning to make this a real of season match. We look forward to reversing the previous the loss earlier in the season that was a highly entertaining match. The kick off time is 1.30pm so get yourself out and make some real noise!!
