Under-11's on their travels tonight (11/6/14)

Chipping Norton Under-11's will have their second game of the season later, as the sun shines brightly (sort of) over Sandford St Martin.

Chippy travel to their neighbours after losing to a very strong, organised and talented Freeland side last week. All of the Under-11's showed great keenness, commitment, and appeared to really enjoy themselves despite the result. It was great to have 4 girls playing, to see some children playing in their first ever cricket match, and to see everybody trying to use the skills they have learned at training.

Tonight will be in the regular 8-a-side format (so should finish considerably earlier than against Freeland), starting at 18:00 at Sandford. If all children can try to be there before 17:45, that will give them an opportunity to warm up beforehand.

It is a beautiful spot at Sandford St Martin, so any parents, supporters and players would be very welcome to pop in and cheer us along, to our first win (hopefully). Bring a jumper, it can get windy!
