Ian (the hobbit) LeMaster. Lord of the rings and King of the "lol" email! Ian is a former Kings Norton player, and now, over the last few seasons a Christ Church regular. He is a top to middle order batsmen who bats the wrong way round (left handed). His unorthodox technique means he scores runs all around the wicket.

Ian likes to deal in boundaries as calling for running can be sketchy, and on occasion he enjoys a good lean on the bat at the non strikers end. Having spent time keeping wicket he is now relegated to reserve keeper due to injury, However his glove work is still excellent, being aided by his low centre of gravity. Fielding wise Ian is the number one target for the sniper and is regularly seen taking a dive with the ball nowhere near him, and he is used to catching the ball with gloves on. This not only adds to the comedy element but also towards the fines pot.

Ian's seam up bowling has been used sparingly by our skipper, but he is more than capable of taking wickets caught at deep cow. He's a great social member of the club and loves a good "rave with Rynners on tour".
