With broadhempston a division title contender which was always going to be a hard game for chudleigh. We knew that the fullbacks were in for a hard game with broadhempston having a lot of flare players out wide.
The game started and for the first 15 minutes we were shambolic across the whole pitch with our defence being ripped apart and broads owning us all over the pitch.
We were lucky that broads missed several easy chances and with Ricky Virgin on top form keeping it at 0-0. With us not being able to settle we couldnt keep the ball and we looked terrible and it was only a matter of time before broads scored and it came only after 15 minutes when their right winger turned our fullback inside and out as he cut inside and unleashed a great strike into the top corner. 1-0
With them on the up and with our heads down this battering continued and looked like it would be a difficult afternoon for chudleigh.
Their next goal game only 10 minutes later when their player struck it first time on the edge of the box to sneek in the corner. 2-0
After their second goal the game calmed down a bit and we started to get in to the game and the possession was shared for the first time in the game and the only time we looked dangerous was from some awesome corner deliveries from Rich Hancox.
Finally the whistle blew for half time and it was a miracle that we were only 2-0 down.

After a bollocking from myself and rob and a few words of advice and motivation we set out to challenge and fight for the game.
As soon as we kicked off we were a new team and started to look ourselves and withing 10 minutes we won a corner which Rich hancox whipped in and was met by Matt heather at the backpost to head home.2-1.
So with the smell of blood the comback looked on and we continued to threaten. With Kit hardee tiring Luke barlow replaced him up top and was instructed to chase down everything.
With luke chasing defenders down their back four suddenly became nervous on the ball and we forced another corner. Rich Hancox once again whipped in a perfect delivery right on the keeper who misjudged the flight and ended up attempting a clearance and putting it in the net.2-2
The game once again leveled out as broads started to play again and both teams had chances. Sam cockram made way for Olly bycroft.
with 20 mins to go broads took the lead against the run of play so we had to fight for a point now.3-2
We continued to push on and we looked the fitter side and we had some great chances but finally Joe wise hustled their defender winning the ball on the edge of the box who slot it into the net.3-3.
With the 10 minutes left and some tiring legs out there Matt heather goes down with cramp forcing me to use our 3rd Sub Martin smith who was making his debut for his 2nd stint at the club who came on to try and see out the game.
The last 10 minutes was very open and both teams had chances to win the game but no one did.

After a shocking first half where it was men versus boys we were lucky to only be 2-0 down thanks to some brilliant keeping from Ricky Virgin and we did ever so well to get back in the game and showed some fight and game back to get a point and could of won the game.
We may have ended a 5 game winning streak but we are unbeaten in 6.
