Dave talked 20 coaches through the course, instructing on the proper procedure for calling the Emergency Services and using the Defibrillator which Churwell Lions coaches, parents and supporters raised £1,600 for over 2015.

Churwell Lions invited some Teachers from Bruntcliffe Academy aswell as some coaches from local club Gildersome Spurs as they also use the facility at Bruntcliffe Academy.

Churwell Lions decided it was important to get this Life Saving Equipment at our facilities as a precaution due to the amount of people accessing the 3g & Grass pitches there, along as the Academy pupils, teachers & visitors.
