What an unbelievable group of girls we have, supported by a dedicated coaching and management team ensuring everything is working to plan. And the plan is to win silverware and being the best team in Leinster ... they are now one step away from hitting their goal.

This group of girls has been together since the very start of the PortDara model and they have grown together into a formidable group of players and a great bunch of friends. The successes of Leinster and North Midlands representatives was celebrated by the entire group and was a reflection of the work they have all put in - no one player makes a team but a great team builds great players ... we have both.

Last year COVID denied them the chance to compete for the plaudits their work deserved but now they are hungry and want to get to the top of the hill and justifiably say they are the best.

They play Wicklow on Saturday Dec 18th in Carlow IT with a 3:00pm ko. Wicklow have been the PortDara nemesis over the past number of seasons and with their own provincial and area representatives they too will want to get to the pinnacle of girls rugby in the province. This promises to be epic and all the support which can be provided will be much appreciated by all.
