The CS Stags 1863 club archives collection has now been passed on for safekeeping from Ralph Hulme to Nick Alway, and it was a great pleasure to meet Ralph recently and collect the said archives.
On behalf of the Committee, Players, Supporters, and the whole Club diaspora, I should like to thank Ralph for looking after these archives for so many years and wish him and his family well for the upcoming house move. Ralph inherited a lot of these from Ray Allwood, our past President, club captain, and committee member for over 30 years. The archives collection contains many programmes, articles, some photos and picture frames, as well as some ledgers going back to the 1800's. I know Nick is eagerly looking forward to going through some of this treasure trove of memorabilia!
