Clacton's push for honours continued in Division Four with an 84 run win at relegation threatened Kirby. For the third week running the Clacton innings was built around the in form Dan Smith (92), although Kirby did have the consolation of dismissing him short of a third successive century. Bradley Pitts (30) and James Lee (21) added some late order runs as Clacton reached 208 for 8. Pitts (2 for 16 from 10) and Harry Spence (2 for 18) soon had Kirby in trouble in response. Carl Parkes hit a valiant 56, before James Lee (3 for 23) helped restrict the home side to 124 for 9.
