A look back at the fixtures from 14th September

The clubs league season kicked off on Saturday with 10 of teams in league action and two playing a friendly.
The Under 18’s continued their unbeaten run from last season drawing 2-2 at home to new side Winsor Whites with Jack Steggles scoring both the goals.
Goals from Finn Bergstrom and Eden Cavanagh saw the same scoreline as the under 15’s drew 2-2 in a friendly at Barton Stacey.

A brace from Luke Bentall on his debut helped the under 14’s to record a 5-1 win at home to Fordingbridge Turks. Tom Crouch, Jack Latter and James Greenwood completed the scoring.

Despite a debut goal from Will Hawkins, the under 13’s Reds were beaten 4-1 at home to Durrington Rangers, while the mad scoreline of the day came for the under 13’s whites as they were involved in an incredible 21-goal thriller in a friendly at Woolton Hill Purple.
Four goals from Owen Haviland, a hatrick from Finley Lewis, two from Thomas Murphy and a strike from Matt Ball would normally be more than enough to win but went down 11-10!

In the mini soccer section, the under 10’s travelled to Worthys Reds with Frankie Moody scoring twice in the league before scoring in the friendly along with Ollie Hunt and an own goal.
Fin Evans, Jack Haigh, Luke Harvey, Olly Clayden and Seb Norman were all on the scoresheet for the under 9’s Reds away to Worthys Red Arrows.

The under 9’s whites saw goals from Alessio Murphy and an own goal at Worthys Blues.
Carlos Campbell scored for the under 8’s whites at home to Shooters Blue.

The Under 7’s reds hosted Worthys Blues with Jay Burden and Archie Greaves on target with the under 7’s whites playing at Lyndhurst and seeing a hatrick from Charlie Green, two from Declan Owens and Teddy Robinson and strikes from Warwick Mackett, Alfie Cumberland and Tom Latter.

Well done to everyone who played over the weekend.
