The UNDER 13’s WHITES came through their home cup tie against division 4 side Pace youth without any dramas with both Carlos Campbell and Gene Dunn scoring 4 apiece.
Campbell opened the scoring before Dunn netted a hatrick with Kydon Broderick also finding the target before the half time interval.
In the second half Campbell competed his hatrick before Henry Cox grabbed a double, Dom Pike added his name to the scoresheet before Dunn and Campbell both recorded their fourth before Cox sealed his hatrick.
Last seasons cup runners up UNDER 15’s REDS bowed out at home to Worthys Reds who ran out 4-1 winners with Freddie Osborne scoring after his return from injury.
In the league the UNDER 15’s GREENS fell to a home defeat as Fawley Falcons Jaybirds retained their 100% start to the season with a 4-0 win.
After aFairly even first half, but Fawley scored from a long range shot midway through the first half.
Start of the second half saw Fawley turn the screw scoring 3 in the first 10 minutes.
The visitors continued to creat the best chances in the remainder of the match, forcing Oralie King to make two goal line clearances and some good saves from Izzy Bealing.
Greens created a couple of half chances but couldn't find a goal to get back in the game.
The UNDER 13’s REDS found themselves 3-0 at the break at home to Worthys Blues before a second half fight back saw them get back to 3-2 with goals from Stephen Davis and Marko Siabruk.
They kept knocking on the door but couldn’t quite get level before Worthys settled it with two further goals.
The UNDER 12’s WHITES made the long journey to face Berkshire Elite and found themselves ahead inside three minutes when Oliver Davies played a defence splitting ball through to Tom Latter, who saw his low shot saved, but parried in to the path of Ollie Chapman to place in to the empty net.
The whites were flying, with goalkeeper Adrian Wyczolkowski taking on a sweeper keeper role.
Henry Busby Grayer, Warwick Mackett and Davies all defended superbly, whilst Zach Andrews and Freddie Trollope were relentless with their quality efforts in midfield.
The whites then fell behind in to the second quarter, and should have been back in the game after a great strike from Teddy Robinson, only for it to be ruled out by the referee who had a change a heart on a throw in fifteen seconds earlier.
The whites were denied again, in bizarre circumstances when Tom Latter’s header from Teddy Robinson corner wasnt kept out by the opposition keeper but as the whites ran off to celebrate, play resumed to the bemusement of everyone.
They did find a late consolation as Declan Owens powered a penalty in to the top corner after Latter was fouled in the box.
A very challenging game for the whites, who travelled with a depleted squad, but battled hard for the entire eighty minutes and found luck not on their side.
The UNDER 12’s REDS were defeated in a friendly at home to AFC Totton.
The UNDER 11’s WHITES hosted Worthys Blues in their 4th Jock McClorey group game which saw a cleansheet and 6 different goal scorers.
Seb Hill, Harry Caryer, Dillon Treagust, Jack Wells, Henry Howes and Henry Pennels all registered with the latter picking up player of the match.
The UNDER 11’s REDS produced one of their best performances of the season but didn’t take their chances in their JM Cup game at Hampshire United Wolves.
Marcos Da Silva picked up player of the match with an excellent display in central midfield and defence while Aidan Willetts did find the net along with Jack Bunt whose goal was his 50th for the club.
Both UNDER 10’s were at home for their JM cup fixtures.
The WHITES battled well at a league higher Braishfield Bees Blacks come back from goal down to level through Josh Miles but the Bees ended it in control.
ETN Glass & Gutters sponsored REDS edged their game against AFC Totton.
After a slow start they came back into the game courtesy of second quarter goals from Charlie Jack, Austin Provan and two from Oli Golden.
Provan added a fifth for the reds before Totton rallied in the final quarter.
Special mention to Toby Woodhouse-Smith who managed a hatrick of shots against the crossbar, while player of the match went to Golden for his first time passing and defensive work in the final quarter.
Zac Cook was player of the match for the UNDER 9’s REDS on his 50th appearance in their cup home game against a very good and organised Upper Clatford Blues.
Some superb goalkeeping from Theo Collins and Gabriel Silva kept the score down for long periods with the team giving their all right to the final whistle.
The UNDER 9’s WHITES put in one of their best performances of the season to date in a fine display against an athletic Premier Touch side.
From the start Clarendon pressed the opposition high up the pitch which quickly led to the first goal from Shrey Patel after some good work by Zach Fountain and Ben Stephens.
By the end of the first quarter Clarendon were in the ascendancy courtesy of a second from Patel and one from Stephens.
Early in the second half Stephens scored his second before Premier were aided by power play to hit back but Patel immediately responded with his hatrick goal.
The game slowed a little in the fourth quarter but Clarendon were camped in the oppositions half for long spells but lacking a more clinical finish until Huw James added his name to the scorers list.
It was an excellent performance with player of the match going to Huw James for his tireless running in midfield and up front.
Ellis Hart scored his first goal for the club in the UNDER 8’s WHITES cup game at Worthys Reds.
Evan Wright and Albie Moignard were also on target while Jacob Elder was player of the match in a very competitive game, brilliant team performance.
Elsie Tinne made her 50th appearance for the club in the UNDER 8’s REDS home cup game against Whitchurch United, while the UNDER 7’s REDS showed their development and improvements with a brilliant performance at home to Tidworth Town Vipers who played their part in an exciting game.
Player of the match went to Archer Bissell with Arlo Watts scoring once and Evie Provan scoring a fine haul of goals.
The SATURDAY SENIOR team produced a fine performance as they hosted Wickham Wanderers, a team 2 divisions higher in their cup tie.
Having gone a goal down the side levelled thanks to Tyler Harfield but the visitors pulled clear to lead 3-1 just 20 minutes in and would have been a greater margin had Callum Rollins not made some sublime saves in the home goal.
Goals from Chey Hayer and Harfield drew the side us level before King scored from the spot after Randall was fouled on the stoke of half time.
Hayer finished off a 5th goal after smart one touch football before completing his hatrick with a good back post finish.
The UNDER 12’s SUNDAY team hosted Baltic Youth with the team starting the strongest and some great work from Lawson Mahony led to a chance for Tom Latter to score with a thunderous strike from his left foot.
Clarendon continued to dominate but chances were passing the team by with Charlie Green going closest when his shot slammed against the post.
Baltic then scored a quick counter when keeper Adrian Wyczolkowski and the defence had a mix up.
Baltic then hit Clarendon with a sucker punch breaking quickly again to lead at the break.
The second half had a familiar feel to the first with Baltic defending deep in numbers and trying to hit on the break but Clarendon kept their concentration and stopped the counters.
However, at the other end of the pitch, Clarendon were struggling to put the ball in the net despite creating multiple chances with Teddy Robinson, Zach Andrews, Max Le Page and Karol Peski all going close.
Mahony was causing trouble down the left all game long and got his reward with a fine finish after receiving the ball from Latter 2-2.
Going into the final stages of the game Clarendon really were pouring the pressure on and were rewarded with a late penalty.
Sam Harris stepped up and slammed the ball home to give the team a hard earned 3 points.
The UNDER 11’s SUNDAY were in action with a friendly at South Newton & Barford Hornets.
U11 Sunday lost 5-2 at South Newton. Pretty close game less a couple of silly mistakes.
Logan Moignard and Toby Langstaff were on target with the latter also picking up player of the match.
The SUNDAY SENIOR team fell to a late 1-0 defeat against Royal Oak in Lavington.
