
The club had one of its won teams on show as UNDER 10’s WHITES played their biggest game to date as they faced Shooters Blue in the final of the Jock McLorey plate.
It was a cagey affair in the opening exchanges with few chances throughout the first half mainly thanks to the Shooters defence which was mirrored by the Whites with Alfie Evans defending well and when he was beaten the impeccable Tom Boddy was there in goal to snuff out Shooters, while another effort struck the bar.
Into the second half and Shooters opened the scoring from a corner which saw them convert home at the near post.
The Whites picked themselves up though and it didn’t take them long to level as Kyan Dreyer delivered a pinpoint defence splitting pass through to Theo Johnson who coolly swept into the far corner!
There were few chances in the remainder of the half although player of the match Boddy was there again to deny Shooters a winning goal as the score stayed 1-1 sending the game to a penalty shootout.

Shooters confidently restored their advantage before Igor Podsiadlo made no mistake sending the keeper the wrong way to convert making it 2-2.
With Shooters putting their final kick just the wrong side of the post it was upto to Fletcher Pike to struck the winning penalty, which he just about did finding the left hand post before agonisingly rolling in.
An excellent performance from all the team with the boys enjoying collecting their medals and lifting their first medal.
The UNDER 14’s WHITES comfortably made it to their second cup final of the season with a 11-0 win away to Andover New Street Robins in the Invitational cup semi final.
Jack Street fired home 5 goals while Leighton Gray recorded a hatrick.
Alessio Murphy, Rory Young and Fin Fabi each scored to complete the scoring as they go in search of a rare treble.
The UNDER 13’s REDS came through their Invitational Cup quarter final on Thursday evening against Upper Clatford.
Brian Mantey and Thomas Woodhouse-Smith both scored twice to record a 4-0 win.
The UNDER 15’s REDS travelled to Tidworth RTC JPL team for a friendly and came away with a 4-3 win in their final fixture of the season.
A great game to finish the season on a large pitch and on the heat, but some fine team goals were created allowing Archie Thomas to score twice with Harry Lewis and Ed Woodhouse following suit.
The UNDER 9’s WHITES played Downton in a friendly which saw Amaru Castellano score twice and Zach Fountain once while player of the match went to Munro Willcox for his hard work in midfield.
The UNDER 8’s REDS had an end to end game away to Whitchurch with Oscar Watts scoring a double.
Eddie Harris, Luca Murphy and Raff Rose were also on target.
The UNDER 7’s REDS player their last game of the season away to KTF.
The first half was pretty even, but the Reds did manage to score once before picking up the pace in the 3rd quarter with Arlo Watts firing he 4 goals and Oscar Bate scoring twice.
Throughout the game, Reuben Durbin was excellent between the sticks, to the frustration of the KTF team and he earned his player of the match before he unfortunately, had to leave the field following a head injury.
The UNDER 7’s WHITES were away to CK Andover, which they started strongly in the first quarter and scored when Ethan Glanville setting up Ruben Smith to score at the back post.
In the the next 3 quarters Whites surged forward with goals for Joshua Willingale scoring twice with Teddy Oakley netting a hatrick.
Ryan Burtons corner forced an own goal with Ethan Glanville then scoring twice Alexander Delgado-Kemp also adding his name to the scoresheet.
There was a big improvement in passing with everyone contributing. Player of the match went to Teddy Oakley for his high energy all round performance.
Both the UNDER 9’s GREENS and UNDER 11’s GREENS participated in the Tournament at Salisbury FC.
The 9’s were split in to two teams with both advancing to the semi finals where they met each other.
Nellie Robinson gave her team (Greens) an early lead, before Mia Roche’s pochers instinct kicked in to give her side (yellows) a deserved equaliser.
The game looked set for penalties, but in the final moments, Elsie Tinne fired in to the top corner to set the up the Greens for a final against the hosts Salisbury.
After a goalless final, Nellie Robinson and Zoe Selbie converted their penalties to give the greens an advantage, with Elsie Tinne tucking away the winner for the greens.
Meanwhile the 11’s came runners up in their age group just falling to a strong Atalanta side in the final.
