Nine games in the latest weekend round up from action on Saturday.

The headliner of the Saturday games was the under 9’s Reds cup semi final.

Fresh off the back of their quarter final win last Saturday the Reds took on Worthy’s Blues in their Lion Cup Semi Final at Barry’s Field.

The teams were well matched, but Clarendon raced in to a 4-1 lead in the first half with goals from Harley Moores, Rory Bruce-Ball, Albert Hatfield and Tommy Layet.
The second half was a more physical affair with Fin Ball making a number of great saves in the Clarendon goal.
However, Worthys managed to pull back two goals to set up a nervy last period, but Max Organ struck at the death to secure Clarendon’s place in the Lion Cup Final with a final score line of 5-3, where they will face either Upper Clatford or Amesbury Hurricanes who play next week.

In the league Ben Leeming scored a hatrick away to Broughton as the under 11’s Whites had a superb 4-3 win with Josh Scott also netting.

Goalkeeper Ben Port, scored from his own area as the under 16’s Reds picked up a 3-0 win at Barton Stacey. Evan Osborne and Jacob Curtis completed the scoring.

The under 16’s whites went down 3-0 at home to Worthys Reds.

The under 12’s also went down at home as they lost by a single goal against South Newton.

Ollie Clayden scored a hatrick for the under 10’s Reds at home to Alderbury, Jack Haigh scored twice with Fin Evans adding his name to the scoresheet on his 100th appearance for the club.

Gene Dunn and Carlos Campbell both scored braces as the under 9’s Whites hosted Romsey Town Tigers. Kaleb Scriven, Dom Pike and Kydon Broderick also found the target.

Lucas Dear and Toby Woodhouse-Smith scored for the under 7’s as they played Overton.

Jay Burden scored his 50th goal for the club as he scored 4 goals for the under 8’s Reds against the whites. An own goal and Charlie Malcolm also scoring for the Reds.

For the Whites, Declan Owens scored his 100th goal for the club as he scored twice. Tom Latter scored 4 with two goals from Eithan Jn Charles and strikes from Freddie Trollope and Charlie Green.
