The last round of fixtures saw 4 fixtures with the under 12’s cup final the headline.

Bishops Waltham was the venue and the opposition for Dave Butler’s side.

Finishing as league runners up in division 2, they travelled to face Bishops Waltham Dynamos who finished mid table of division 1, so a close game was expected.

Juniors playing in their yellow and blue away kit, started brightly and attacked looking for an early goal without reward.

BW grew into the game as the half wore on and had a couple of half chances but good defending and quick goalkeeping thwarted the danger.

Oscar Smith had a great chance to open the scoring but guided the ball wide towards the end of the first half before Dynamos saw a chance go over.

The second half saw a fairly even contest continue before Dynamos got themselves in front with a low finish just inside the box.

Juniors shuffled their pack looking for a way back in the game and found themselves with a couple of good chances but couldn’t get their shots on target.

With time ticking away, Oscar Smith tried his luck from the edge of the area, beating the keeper with a well struck shot to level the game at 1-1.

Neither side could find a winner which meant a penalty shootout.
George Sutton stepped up to slot home into the bottom corner for the first with Dynamos levelling.

Dynamos matched Harvey Smith, Oscar Smith, and Jacob Earle who all converted for Juniors.

The 5th and final round of spot kicks saw George Gower fire home for a 5-4 lead, leaving Keeper Harry Hambly to be the hero with a fine save to his left, which he followed up to claw away before it crossed the line.

In the league the under 10’s Whites played the final home game of the season with Durrington Dragons the visitors.

A strong performance rounded off a solid season with a double from Harry O’Donnell and goals from Jack Doe, Alfie Bentall and Thomas Woodhouse-Smith.

Tom Latter scored a hatrick for the under 8’s Whites in their last league game at Upper Clatford.

And finally the under 9’s Reds travelled to Durrington to take on Dynamos in a friendly.
Player of the match was Jack Stephens for his marauding runs down the right wing and some great crosses from corners and open play.
Max Organ scored along with two goals from Tommy Layet.
