Clarendon almost got off to a dream start in the opening attack but saw an effort just go wide.
The opening period saw both sides battling hard to make an imprint on the game with neither keeper called into action until the 11th minute when the deadlock was broken.
Playing in their change kit of blue and black stripes, Clarendon pressed well and worked the ball wide to Frankie Moody, he held off a challenge before firing home a left foot shot between the keepers legs.
The goal settled the side down and they started to string a number of good passes together as they looked to double their lead.
Harry Lewis and Joey Ball both went close before Lewis threaded a fine ball through for Moody who saw his shot drift wide of the far post.
They did double their lead on 17 minutes though when Lewis free kick was parried by the keeper with the ball dropping to the feet of Ollie Hunt who tapped home.
A minute later it was 3-0 as good pressing in midfield saw Oliver Calais slip the ball through for Moody to find the net again.
Good defending by captain Rowan Chatt started another attack which resulted in a ball down the line from Josh Durnall. The ball eventually fell to Ball in the box who beat the keeper for a 4th goal.
Whitchurch pulled a goal back when a ball forward saw the striker clip the ball past on rushing keeper Freddie Osborne.
That goal lifted Whitchurch and another attack almost gave them a second but this time Osborne’s quick closing down blocked their chance, with the danger cleared just before the half time break.
The second half started with a number of good passing moves from Clarendon with a number of corners being forced.
Archie Thomas protected the back two to deny Whitchurch any clear cut chances, while Freddie Green who worked tirelessly through out almost scored what would have been the goal of the game.
Having won the ball on the half way line, he drove forward, turned a defender before turning him inside out a second time but agonisingly having done the hard parts, skewed his shot wide of the near post.
The Whitchurch keeper made a good save to deny Ball and Lewis before another shot smacked against the bar.
Clarendon did score a 5th on 39 minutes though as Gabriel Williams threaded the the ball forward for Moody to advance and smash across the keeper for his hatrick.
Unselfish play from Moody almost teed up Hunt but over hit his pass, with roles reversed in the next attack this time Hunt finding his strike partner only for Moody to guide the ball wide.
Caidan Lawes did well on the right the allow Lewis to cross with Calais almost getting in a shot but being closed down well.
Whitchurch forced a save from Williams who had now replaced Osborne in goal, before seeing another shot strike the bar.
Osborne almost got on the end of cross playing in midfield, before Williams turned another shot behind.
As they saw out the final moments, the referee blew the final whistle to end the final which saw Clarendon finish 5-1 winners and complete a league and cup double. Well done team
