We caught up with the gaffer Emily Hanrahan before today’s friendly v South Cave

Excited to be back in action again today before we have a short break to let the girls rest, recover and recuperate before we get back to the real hard graft of preseason.

Wilko and I have had the girls working really hard in training to prepare for today and for the season and we are hoping to continue our winning ways vs a tough South Cave side.

Looking forward to the season, I’m confident we can get some fantastic results in and aim for the huge promotion. The girls have all been great, from our most experienced players to our younger girls and under 16s coming up. They’ve all mixed well and starting to build a brilliant bunch of girls who make up our Clee Town Ladies squad and I couldn’t be more proud of the squad we are building.

The work rate and commitment is higher than I’ve ever seen from these girls so on that front I’m really happy with that.

A note on our league winning U16s that have come up to us this season - As I said earlier, I couldn’t be more happy with the work rate and commitment and I’m really excited to show everybody what they have brought to the squad. It really is an exciting time for the club, especially our ladies section.

So, thank you for supporting us and we would love the support at today’s game.

UTO!
