The Club is delighted to announce that James McKeown is joining our existing management set-up with immediate effect.

James will be bringing his wealth of experience to the technical area and we all wish him well.

Tim Lowe & Liam Dickens commented:

"We are pleased to welcome James to the management team.

Macca’s new role will be a player/coach, as we look to help him make the transition from playing to coaching.

He is still very much in our plans on the playing side but will have more responsibility, assisting us at training and on matchday. His career speaks for itself, and the knowledge & experience he has picked up along the way will benefit the lads."

James told our media:

"Really pleased and honoured that the Gaffers have asked me to help out. Regardless of whether I’m playing or not, I’ve really enjoyed working under Tim & Liam.

I feel the same as they do in their demands and non-negotiables. We will be going all-out to deliver for the Club.

Coaching, and not specifically goalkeeper coaching, is something that I’m really looking at, as I move towards the end of my playing career. So I’m delighted I can start my journey now!"
