Stocksbridge Away
We are back on the road this weekend with a trip to Stocksbridge, which is always a difficult away day. We played them earlier on this season in the FA Cup and came away with a narrow 1-0 victory courtesy of a last minute Will Annan free kick. It was a tight game with very little to separate both teams and we expect tomorrow to be just as competitive.
Stocksbridge currently sit 19th in the league but we certainly won’t be underestimating them as they were in the playoffs last season and still have the majority of the same squad of players.
The lads have trained well again this week and we will be aiming to implement our game plan effectively to secure the 3points come 5pm. We are entering an important part of the season and we need to start putting a run of wins together to move up the league table and into the playoff places.
Our away support is one of the best in the league and it would be great to see as many as the owls faithful as possible again to cheer the team on.
