1-1 draw sees the Ladies unbeaten in Two ...

Lincoln Moorlands away.

The ladies travelled to Lincoln on a warm autumnal afternoon in a bid to overturn a very unlucky 5 - 0 home defeat a few weeks previous.

The ladies lined up and produced a brilliant first half performance in which we had numerous chances, good defending and a few good saves keeping out the persistent Charlton, half time arrived with the game goalless.

The second half started and around the hour mark Clee Town made the pressure count a good move down the right saw a good finish from Sampson. Town stuck at it with a very good team performance but missed several chances to kill off the game. Then with around ten minutes remaining Moorlands equalised with a brilliant finish on the left hand side with Francis having no chance.

The last ten minutes was end to end stuff with both keepers making good saves and the deadlock couldn't be broken, so we take away a point but take more than that from the performance the ladies have now started to gel as a team and will move forward.

Player of the match was awarded to Beth Sampson who had a very good game. A special mention must go to Becky Dent who dropped into the back four and produced an outstanding dominant performance.

We move onto Lincoln Griffins next week.

Solid performance Ladies well done.
