We are very proud of the inspiring attitudes of our young players and parents/supporters representing the club!

Cleethorpes Town Pattesons were invited to attend the Cleethorpes classics spring bank holiday R&T tours festival for a second time this year. it was a great tournament once again and we were proud to be a part of it. The Saturday has to be the wettest conditions we have ever encountered to play football in! Torrential horizontal rain with thunder and lightening only begins to describe it. The boys never once complained and we huddled together in Bradley pitches changing room, attempting to dry the boys kits with hair dryers!
Despite the conditions the team battled through and though it wasn't the most successful day regarding results they continued to keep their chins up, respect the referee, encourage each other, and shake hands like true sportsmen at the end of each game. On Sunday the sun appeared again and so did the great results! Unfortunately they didn't manage to make the final but put in great effort trying. The eventual winners of the age group, a Team from Liverpool, were unbeaten all tournament, winning all their other games but only managing a 0-0 draw with the Pattesons boys. Every player showed impeccable manners and a fabulous attitude and this was noticed by the organisers;

Cleethorpes Town Pattesons received the most sporting team in the tournament trophy and are now proud to have received this for 2 consecutive years! This is a great achievement, well done boys :-)

We are all very proud of our team and the boys are a credit to all the parents involved! They enjoyed receiving thier awards from Liverpool/Germany player Dietmar Hamaan at a great presentation evening and had a great day using the swimming facilities at thorpe park together on the Monday.

A huge well done you should all be very proud of yourselves ⚽️
