With Craig recently leaving Pontefract Collieries in their highest ever position and losing out unfortunately in the play-offs the Owls moved quickly to discuss their aspirations and ambitions with Craig which led to him becoming the 1st Team manager.

Craig said
'After a whirlwind few days myself and the rest of the staff are delighted to be joining your club.

Over the coming weeks we will look forward to meeting you all in person as we start to build a strong bond between the supporters, staff and players.

We feel honoured to be joining a club with so much potential and it'll be our job to tap into that potential quickly. After meeting the directors it was clear to see the excitement they have for the clubs future and the ambitions they have moving forward.

Our job will be to put a team on the pitch that excites people but ultimately the first priority is to build a team that wears our shirt with pride and shows the same passion that you all feel.'

It goes without saying we hope you all give Craig a very warm welcome and look forward to pre season which is only 6 weeks away!.
