Cleethorpes Town Ladies will be looking to kick start their season on Sunday with their second league game of the season, on home soil against league newcomers AFC Preston Ladies.

Preston, travelling to the seaside from the East side of Hull will be looking to add to their tally of three points from the first two games in the fixture at Linden Homes Club at 2pm. However, the Owls are keen to put right the errors in their previous home defeat against Westella & Willerby and put on a real team show, taking on last year's East Riding Women's League winners.

Manager Andy Mason has another strong squad at his disposal and intends to use all of the energy possible this week, adding "Westella made very good use of the roll on roll off sub system, something we're getting used to still and hopefully we can use this to our advantage this coming weekend, the aim is to keep the girls firing on the pitch with the opportunity of a rest for a period of time to recharge and go out racing again on their return".

Available to Cleethorpes this week is regular goalkeeper Hollie Francis, Lindsay Dye is in the 16 on her return to the side after a year missing, French, Townsend and captain Naomi Hardman are also available to the side, with the latter returning after joining in with full training this week for the first time following a niggling toe injury has kept her sidelined for much of the summer.

Youngsters Saskia Rawbone, Chloe Wilkinson Katie Pye, Eve Vickers, Pariss Welsh and Chelsea Trott will also be looking to add minutes to their armoury this weekend, whilst strong forwards Gemma Charlton, Lottie Soar, Emma Smith, Jade Charlton and Alyssa Fussey will be helping the Owls goal scoring charts move off zero for the league.

The ladies are feeling good again after a week off and raring to go again with a big push for their first three point hall this season
