An excellent evening was enjoyed by all at Cleobury Mortimer Sports & Social Club on Saturday 7th May 2016. There are usually 3-purposes of the evening, to celebrate the season, to congratulate the award winners and to thank the many people who work hard to volunteered their time free, for the benefit of all. We were pleased to see everyone, but particularly delighted that Hylton & Hayley Smith from our sponsors Specialist Foundations agreed to present the Trophies. We are also very pleased to extend a warm to welcome an old friend of the Club, Roddy Yapp and some representatives from the Colts XV, who have decided to relocate to Cleobury RFC from other Clubs.

Vice Presidents – for their support both with finance and on pitch side.
Sports & Social Club staff and Trustees – as demand for these facilities increases as the business grows, we are grateful for the continued support.
First Aid – to all those who have offered tender loving care to all players during the season.
Kitchen staff – principally to Caroline and Francesca, but also to others who assisted. Thanks is also offered to all those who assisted in the clearing away afterwards!
To all those who captained the 1st XV and 2nd XV this season at any stage, together with all those involved in the coaching, selecting and preparing the teams!
The Committee continues to work behind the scenes to support the playing side in any way we can, efficiently and without fuss – thank you all very much indeed.
The two people who acted as Vice Captains during the injury to our Captain were also given a token of our gratitude, Josh Phillips and Paul Hulland.

Willie Bache received a token of gratitude from the Club for his work as Captain this season, from Hylton Smith. Willie was then invited to announce the winners:
