Tomorrow we look forward to entertaining Neath from the Welsh Premier. They have made some very good signings this summer with Chris Llewellyn (Former Bristol Rovers), Craig Steins (Merthyr), Ian Hillier (Newport), Anthony Williams (Wrexham) to name just a few and will certainly be very tough opposition for us.

We beat Caldicot on Tuesday evening in a very competitive match. It was pleasing as I was able to give the majority of the squad a run out, especially the youngsters who are really developing this summer and also gave me a chance to view players on trial which made it a very productive evening.

As you are aware Gregg Coombes signed in the week which will give us more strength in midfield. I will look to complete the squad in the next few days and will say more on our new signings in the week and the squad in general.

I am more than pleased with the way pre-season is progressing and feel that we are on course to be optimistic about the coming season.
