The Seasiders second Easter game on Monday is a top of the table clash against Somerset rivals Bridgwater United, kick off 1-:00 pm at the Everyone Active Hand Stadium in a reverse of the Christmas fixture which Town won with a dramatic injury time winner.
Fourth placed Bridgwater’s Good Friday game was a victim of the weather and before that they had three wins, two defeats and a draw in their previous six league games. In contrast Clevedon in second place come into the game with five wins and a draw which came in a tough 1-1 Good Friday game at Nailsea & Tickenham, with the only goal they have conceded in the last six games.
Clevedon are also unbeaten in the last six league games between the sides, but Bridgwater won a Somerset Premier Cup First Round match 3-0 at the Everyone Active Hand Stadium earlier this season.
Seasiders Manager Alex White said, “We know we can expect a competitive game on Monday and Bridgwater will be looking for revenge after our win at Christmas, as we would. As we found on Friday form counts for nothing in local derbies so, it’s important we have the right mindset because we’re still in an unbelievable position with all to play for and we back ourselves to stay in the pack at the top in the play-off positions.”
