Today was the third & final round of
@Clevedon26 65’s Tournament, this round was previously cancelled due to the hot weather back in July.
Going into this final round, it was all to play for as we were in third, 6pts behind Cardiff & 4pts behind Portishead.

First game was against Cwmbran Celtic a 2-0 win, we started on top of our game, giving nothing away & totally dominant from start to finish, everyone played their part with some lovely football, with an unlucky Mark Steadman hitting the woodwork 3 times
but 2 goals from James Hobbs sealed the victory.

Second game was against Peasedown a 0-0 draw, once again we were the dominant team, with James Hobbs hitting the woodwork & their keeper making some vital saves during the match, Nigel Clarke only had one shot all game to contend with, hence the dominance, unfortunately it ended in a stalemate 0-0

Third game was against Taunton a 2-0 win, some lovely football at times with Taunton mainly on the back foot defending their goal, 2 goals from
Mark Steadman was enough to give us a deserved win.

Our fourth & final game was against Imperial a 3-0 win, with goals from
Mark Steadman, James Hobbs &
Jon Fry,, another convincing win, well deserved.
I must mention that over the four games played Nigel Clarke only had to face 3 shots, this go to show how determined the whole squad played not to concede.

After the final whistle had blown on all the remaining games, we got a shock to find out we had finished runners up on a +1 goal difference from Portishead,
exceptional, well deserved & a big thank you to all 3 squads over the 3 rounds.
