Woolston U10's v Clock Face Miners U10's

A performance full of desire to win and persistence from all the team to keep pushing themselves even during tough patches of game. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the whole game with both teams having patches of pressure throughout. Teams trading tries in the first half to see the score line 8-8 going into half time.

The second half continued in the same manner as the first with the game evenly balanced before Clock Face turned the pressure into points with a try under the posts to extend the lead to 8-14 with 5 minutes to play.

However Woolston continued to battle on and built pressure in Clock's half before scoring to close the lead to 12-14 with a couple of minutes to play.

After the restart Clock Face gave up possession in their own half to set up a nervy finish for both sides. With the last play of the game Woolston looked to be in for a certain late winner as they beat us out wide before Mason Benson tracked across the pitch to make an excellent try saving tackle in the corner only centimetres short of the line which won the game 12-14 for Clock Face.
