A very tough defeat for the team especially against our closest rivals. Clock scored first after a close range scoot by Mason Benson took us into an early 6-0 lead. However, this didn’t reflect the slow start by the team who was 16-6 after another 10 minutes of action. The second half had a slow start with multiple errors from both teams before Thatto scored out wide to put the game behind reach. Clock Face improved massively throughout the second half and had a spell of 5/10 minute pressure on thatto heaths line but they held out to keep Clock out of sight. With less than 5 minutes to go, a brilliant defensive set by Oliver Burns followed by a try by the same player pulled the score back to 22-12 but the fight back was too late as thatto ended up victorious.
