Celtic upped their effort in defence, but this was undone when a monster of a kick by Jack Highcock was fumbled by the Celtic fullback. The loose ball was collected by Hunt who went over for his second. Minutes later and Costello launched a huge kick, he chipped ahead, Lewis Geraghty then volleyed the ball to the supporting Michael Carney who scored under the sticks giving Clock a 30-0 half time lead.
Four minutes into the second half and Clock were in again when Jack Highcock showed neat footwork to score by the sticks. Celtic were throwing everything at Clock to get back into the game, but Clock’s defence held firm. A loose Celtic pass was collected by Luke Forber who outpaced the Celtic defence to score under the sticks. Forber then scored his second with an almost repeat of the first try. Highcock amassed an impressive 18 points with a try and seven conversions.
