Clumber U15 traveled to Worksop this evening for a Bassetlaw league game. Fielding first Clumber were excellent with the ball with a shell shocked Worksop limited to 29 all out off 15 overs. Skipper Ben Tomlinson spread bowling duties around the team and each was supported by lively and energetic fielding, Hayden Cox taking 2 for 3, Harry Tim Beer 2 for 2, Ben Atkinson 2 for 9, Callum 1 for 0 and Evan and Josh 1 for 5 each. With an early night in prospect Clumber didn't hang around and knocked off the required runs in 3.4 overs. Zak revealed in the opportunity to open and carried his bat scoring 21. The win puts Clumber 3rd (8pts) in the league behind Anston (12pts) and Ordsall (10pts) who have each played one game more. The next outing for Clumber U15 is at home on Friday in the second round of the Notts Cup against Papplewick & Linby who will be looking to revenge last year's defeat to Clumber. UTP
