Clumber Women & Girls win their first outdoor game.

Clumber Storm travelled to Haxey CC to play a Yorkshire Disability Select XI in a 12 over pairs match. Yorkshire turned out a development team to play the Storm, with both teams performing well.
Clumber batted first and posted 91-3 (Nett 76) in their 12 overs, with Rachel Beer outstanding with the bat. In reply Yorkshire were restricted to 77-2 (Nett 67) to give the Storm a 9 run victory.
This is the first outdoor victory for the Storm with the hosts moving the improvement from their game on the last Bank Holiday.
The Storm play Blyth Ladies at Clumber Park Sunday 2nd June and will be playing Cage cricket in Nottingham Market Square on Saturday 1st June.

Our thanks go out to Haxey CC for their hospitality and for allocating us a changing room and space, the was most appreciated.
