Work started yesterday for the lighting scheme on the second team pitch, Following the Friday afternoon preparation carried out by Wayne Davies and Darren Hannaby , Wayne had made the frames for the post up to make it easier for us the following day to level out.

We started at 6,30 , excavated four large holes(With the help of all the machinery from Gary Billlington (Eco Ready mix) and the brilliant digger driver Duncan.

The frames have been installed in the excavated holes and leveled of with the help of Myself (Allun Baba Jones), Darren Hannaby,Terry Williams, Chris (Snake) Williams.

Duncan has precisely excavated a trench from the last light post all the way to the club house to enable ducting to be installed ready (Help from Allun Baba Jones, Darren Hannaby,Terry Williams, Chris (Snake) Williams, Vince Oakley and Ian Joe Jones,Simon Bala and Simon Bennion ).

The job was completed around 6pm last night - A very hard days work - But lovely food prepared in the club house kitchen and constant drinks and biscuits to keep every one going.

It takes a lot to keep a small club like Rhos running , This is never an easy task, but with the support from local businesses and players and ex players this club with go from strength to strength .

May I take time out to thank all the people involved in making this happen . Its a big stepping stone for the club .
