Kyle Perry's stoppage time winner handed Coalville a hugely impressive victory at runaway League leaders Kettering Town
Coalville made the trip to Kettering Town looking to bounce back from Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Kings Lynn Town. Kettering were on an impressive run of form having won their last 7 games.
The Ravens were ahead on the half hour mark, Kalern Thomas advanced into the penalty area and was cleared out by Declan Towers, Kairo Mitchell stepped up and slotted the penalty into the bottom left corner.
Kyle Perry had a chance to double the lead after a long high ball was headed by Craig Stanley towards the oncoming Perry who smashed a first time effort over the bar.
Kettering were level after 38 minutes, Michael Richens thundered a long range effort against the crossbar, the rebound fell into the 6 yard box and Dan Holman was on hand to fire home.
The home side were ahead 20 minutes into the second half, Aaron O'Connor's effort came back off the post to the back post where Marcus Kelly was on place to slot the rebound in to put Kettering ahead.
Coalville drew level with 10 minutes to go, Tim Berridge picked up the ball on the edge of the box and finished superbly on his left foot into the bottom right corner.
Kieran Fenton slid into to make an excellent goal saving block moments later, Richard Walton was then called into action from the rebound to make a brilliant point blank save to deny O'Connor.
3 minutes into stoppage time, Lathaniel Rowe-Turner dived in on Tim Berridge on the right hand side deep in Kettering's half, Andrew Wright stepped up to take the free kick and whipped the ball in which was met by Kyle Perry who got in before the defender to head in and give the Ravens a huge 3 points.
