The Ravenettes host Asfordby Amateurs 1999 Ladies on Sunday and will be hoping to build on last weekends big win over struggling Ashby Ivanhoe Ladies. Town recorded their second highest victory of the season, returning home with the spoils in a 13-0 win. This was Coalville's first fixture since 27th October, when Ashby were also the visitors to the Mander Cruickshank Solicitors Stadium.
Meanwhile, Asfordby have played twice during that same period. They suffered a 0-8 defeat to title favourites AFC Leicester and then they went down 1-3 at surprise league-leaders Desford. Their away form has yet to see them return with any points, with their only other away game being a 1-2 defeat at improving Groby Ladies.
The Ravenette's will be without flying winger Megan Williams, who is unavailable, but both Lizzy Jackson and Rachel Coote return to the squad. Ella Whitby should be back to "straight line" running on Tuesday following her ankle turn.
Manager Tony Moore was pleased with the way his team went about their business on Sunday. "The pitch was very heavy and myself and Matt were worried that this might affect our passing style of play. The girls though stuck to their game plan and in the end the score line could quite easily have been 20 had we taken all of our chances. We now have two very important games before the Christmas break, both against Asfordby teams. We need to go into the New Year and be in and around the front-runners, so we have to be looking at taking all of the six points on offer from these two games".
Kick off on Sunday is 2pm and is free entry on the gate with a free programme.
