Discipline costs young Ravens as 100% record goes, This was always going to be a tough game but credit to the players for voting to continue and play with 3 players out isolating due to COVID-19
The Ravens came up against a team that simply wanted it more, Whittington's energy and fitness was much better and the Ravens fell 1-0 behind midway through the first half from a long range effort which should have been closed down. Whittington had the better of the half but just before half time the Ravens equalised when top scorer Rees Morton ran through to beat the keeper and equalise against the run of play. The frustration of the players were growing as every decision seemed to go against them but as it looked like they had got back into the game on the stroke of half time Whittington scored again to make it 2-1 at half time.
The second half was the worse 40 minutes of the season lack of discipline and sin bins cost us as we imploded to an 8-1 defeat not much more to add but lessons will be learnt.
