After attending a selection evening in November, two of our U16 Titans were delighted to be chosen to play in the U16 Cumbrian County Squad for the coming year.

The two players, Chris Potter and Chris Graham, impressed the selectors with their speed and power to beat dozens of other hopefuls from around West Cumbria for selection to the squad.

The squad replaces Cumbria Storm as Cumbria's representation among rugby league academies across the country, giving the players the chance to play against some established academies such as Salford Red Devils, Newcastle Thunder and the London Broncos. In fact, they will be matched up against their fellow Titan, Luke Broster, twice when they play Thunder home and away.

They are supported and trained by academy coaches from the Super League club, Widnes who will travel up to Hensingham once a week to deliver top class training and support. Those who do well will have the potential to be selected to the Widnes Academy next year.

Once again, another success story which shows that this club is going places!
