As most of you probably know already Colne and Nelson RUFC have a big game this weekend, a win will earn them promotion. This is the final game of the season and is against Chorley RUFC who are also playing for promotion. This is a home fixture, so get behind your rugby club and support the squad. Saturdays game will be sponsored by the Tindall family in dedication to Mavis who sadly passed away last week. The bar will be open from midday with a BBQ on at some point during the day.

The second team do not have a fixture this weekend so all eyes will be on the first team during this important promotion game.

The previous game between these two sides was hosted at Chorley RUFC where they came out victorious over Colne and Nelson RUFC. This was the first game of the season and Colne had a new squad that were still building relationships and developing an understanding of each other’s strengths. It seems fitting that the final game of the season and promotion battle is how the season started, except this time Colne and Nelson RUFC will be victorious.
