Colony got off to the perfect start and took the lead in the 2nd minute of the match with a well worked goal due to clever play from Clark and Mckenzie. Clark (pictured) showed great strength to roll his man on the half way line and played a one two with Mckenzie before slotting past the Hermes goalkeeper. Colony could have doubled their advantage in the first half when Mckenzie’s pace saw him through one on one but the keeper made a good save.
Two mins before the half-time break Colony conceded a penalty which was dispatched to draw the teams level.
On 61 minutes Hermes took the lead with a well worked goal. Hermes had the majority of possession 2nd half without creating too many clear cut chances.
Plenty of positives for Colony to take from the game. Past two weeks we have lost by the odd goal to two of the strongest teams in the league. Hopefully we can build on this and have a strong finish to the season.
