Fortunes didn’t favour Colony this weekend. Following a dogged performance last time out against Culter where few chances were created.
Colony played some great football In this fixture but could not find the net and came up against a direct and ruthless Culter side. Having had a great deal of possession with noteable chances falling for Crisp and McKenzie in the first half, Colony would still have been very much in the game but failure to convert left the visitors with a mountain to climb.
HT 3-0
Colony looked to come out In the second half and get back into the game but suffered a blow when Culter scored again to put the game out of sight. McKeown raced through in the latter stages, and hit the post with the goalkeeper stranded, and this was typical of Colony’s fortunes on the day. No one could criticise the effort of the Colony players, but failure to take chances cost them dear. Culter were ruthless, and the scoreline could have been more but for some excellent stops by Stuart Gray.
Full time 4-0
