Colony Park managed to field a team of sorts despite being hit by Covid, illness, injuries and unavailability. This was a very young side, and Ross Clelland from the Colony Park Under 19s made his starting debut. His team mate, Josh Byres also got minutes under his belt, and both showed that they are players with a bright future. With the experienced "Billy" Gray, Ross Durno and Stuart McKay at the spine of the side, Colony lit up the first half with bright, attacking football, and a well worked goal. When Culter put the pressure on in the second half, the team produced a real "backs to the wall" performance, but eventually their efforts brought no reward. Here is what the Manager had to say
"A sickener today, 1-0 up with 3 minutes to play. A brilliant first half display put us 1-0 up with great team goal finished off by Fraser Bruce. Second half we rode our luck but ultimately couldn’t see out the result. A brilliant debut from Ross Clelland"
