Slowly but surely things are clicking into place for Coney Hill, although after a commanding 1st half showing, they dropped off and allowed Brockworth back into the game.
At times Hills pace of play was too much for Brockworth to live with as they swarmed their visitors with powerful attacking play. Going into half time 26-9 up and the bonus point secured, the team would have hoped to kick on in the 2nd half, but defensively they dropped off and allowed Brockworth back in the game, which wasn't helped by a very high number of penalties being conceded.
After recent tough times, if you had offered the Hillmen an unbeaten start to the season they would have taken that without a doubt, and there were plenty of good things from Saturdays game which can be taken forward into our next game away at Cheltenham Saracens RFC
