3 wins to Twickenham, but Aspull to conquer first

This Saturday Congleton make their first appearance of the season in the National Senior Vase Competition.

How does the competition work?

It is a national competion for teams in Level 8 leagues across the country. The fixtures would be as follows:

- North West mini league to decide a North West winner
- North West v North East for a North Winner
- National Semis: Drawn with winners of North, Midlands, South East and South West regions
- National Final, Twickenham

With Furness dropping out if the Northwest Mini League, it has now become a straight up knock out competiton for the Bears.

And the first fixture couldn't be any more fierce, with Congleton facing league leaders and rivals of the last few seasons Aspull.
