Born in Stoke-on-Trent, Ben Chapman qualified to play for the British Virgin Islands due to him holding a British passport and he made his debut for them in the Caribbean Cup on 22 March 2016, against Martinique. He then played for the islands in the CONCACAF Nations League. He plays for Leek Town in the Northern Premier League, Division One South East, having previously played for Nantwich Town, Market Drayton Town, Kidsgrove Athletic, Glossop North End and Airbus UK Broughton F.C. In January 2019, Hanley Town took him on a short-term loan from Leek Town. The loan period is from 26th September 2019 to 4th January 2020 inclusive and includes a clause that Leek Town can recall him in the event of injury to their first choice goalkeeper.
