6 Nomads Players represent North East Wales

The side beat mid Wales by three goals to two with all goals coming from Nomads players.

A fantastic result for the side with gives them a real chance of winning the tri angular tournament which also includes the North Wales Coast side.

Debutants Jamie Roberts and Ben Williams were playing their first games for the side both playing in full back roles with Roberts earning himself man of the match.

Defender Ryan Jones was also given the captaincy and put in a great performance and led by example at the back.

Fellow Nomads players Jamie Wynne, Aled Reece and Rhys Healey also played for the side and all got themselves on the score sheet.

The side were trailing one goal to nil before a fantastic strike from distance from Aled Reece. Jamie Wynne who is currently on loan at Llangefni first team got the second with a great headed goal from a corner.

Healey who came on at half time grabbed the third to seal the victory.

A great result and great achievement for the club to have the six represent the side.

As well as George Baxter, Jordan Beck and Shaun Tinsley who have played for the side a total of 8 players from Nomads have represented the North East Wales under 18 side.

A great achievement for the club and a massive well done to all six who represented the side.
