U13 and U15 sides face local Liverpool opposition with U18 and U19s facing Chester Nomads.

Firstly we apologise to all Nomads Academy parents and players in our U8-U11 age groups along with academy cup sides U12, U14 and U16.

Two months ago our whole pre season schedule with games was complete and just over 24 hours prior to last weekends games we were contacted by Future Elevens that they could no longer attend fixtures.

This was very frustrating for ourselves and the late notice gave us very little chance of gaining new fixtures. We can only apologies again for this to all, but hope all understand this was something which was out of our hands.

Our U18 and U19s sides travelled away to Chester Nomads for the final pre season games of the season with the Clwyd East League kicking off this week.

Our U19s played out a 4-3 win against their first team opposition with our U18s well beaten 6-1 against their reserves, with a poor second half performance which saw the side concede five of the six goals after being 1-1 at half time.

Sunday our U13 and U15 teams faced two local teams from Liverpool in Netherton and Custys. Both very competitive fixtures which saw our U13s beaten and a three two win for our under 15s who trailed two nil at the break.

This week our under 15 and 16 sides enjoyed a full six hour training day at The Quay 3G which included UEFA B license assessments, shape and tactical work for the season including video analysis.

A fantastic day which was very beneficial for staff and players. More days for different age groups will be added for the remainder of the Summer holidays also.
